Job Title: Pathologists Assistant Profession: Laboratory Specialty: Pathology Assistant Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Surgical Pathology experience required License: ASCP - PA preferred, but not required Certifications: Military acceptable, AHA preferred Must-Have: - Surgical Pathology experience Description: We are seeking a Pathologists Assistant for a laboratory position. The successful candidate will have experience in Surgical Pathology. This role does not require a COVID-19 vaccine. A flu vaccine is required with medical or religious exemptions considered. Candidates must be able to work a consistent day shift. Orientation hours required prior to start date. Modules are required for completion pre-start and during orientation. Candidates must have experience with charting systems. An understanding of patient demographics across all age groups is necessary. Strong interdisciplinary support will be available. All time off requests must be approved by management prior to signing a contract. State-issued identification will be needed prior to submission. Local candidates will be considered based on residency criteria. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care in a laboratory setting. All applicants must be compliant with relevant certifications and training requirements.
