Travel Occupational Therapist - School (OT) in Marshfield, WI

********OT professionals are given privileges within Marshfield Medical Center, so they have to go through client credentialing process. That team meets every 3rd Monday of the month and then it will take up to 10 additional business days before the traveler can start. OT must have ALL onboarding (including WI state license) done by the 2nd Monday of the month, if not done, in time, start date may be pushed out a month. Please keep this in mind during the recruitment and placement process. Entire process from submission to start can take up to 2 months or longer, depending on candidate/onboarding items. ***************** Department: OT - Inpatient *Certifications Required: BLS, prefer NBCOT* **Local Rate: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility. Client rates reduced by $8.00/hour.** - # of patients treated per day: approximately 120-150/day dept. total. 9 evaluations/day/therapist, 16 treatments/day/therapist. - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Adult & pediatric ICUs, Level 2 pediatric & adult trauma center, primary stroke center, same day discharge joint program, trauma, neuro, ortho, general med surg., oncology, peds inpatient rehab program, adult inpatient rehab program and stroke specialty program. - Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient?: Adult and pediatric acute inpatient, adult and pediatric ICUs, adult and pediatric acute inpatient rehab. - What areas are they required to cover?: All of the above areas may need to be covered. - Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties: ADL evaluation, documentation justifying next level of care, strong verbal and written communication skills, flexibility, strong teamwork skills. - OT Manager/Supervisor: Shana Bohman - Rehab Aides: COTA's: 1 rehab aide scheduled, 1 COTA. - Shifts & Scheduling: Day shift, variable. Self scheduling is not allowed. - Weekend Requirements: Yes - comp days are scheduled. - Holiday Requirements: Yes. - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any solid color, clean & professional. - Department specific orientation: Varies based on skill. *MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Marshfield.
