Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while exploring a new location.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Washington State Occupational Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Experience or willingness to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility/Long Term Care environment.
  • Graduate/new graduates welcome. Prior clinical experience with geriatric, post-acute, or long-term care populations preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required. Ability to collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members.

Role Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
  • Provide hands-on therapy and document patient progress, maintaining accurate treatment records.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and nursing staff.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on techniques to support continued care and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.
