Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients' vital signs, telemetry data, and cardiac rhythms accurately and efficiently.
- Assess patients' conditions and detect any changes or abnormalities.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop appropriate care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by physicians.
- Document patients' medical histories, treatments, procedures, and anticipated outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and self-care.
- Provide compassionate and competent care to patients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
- Assist in the coordination of patient transfers and discharges.
- Act as a patient advocate and ensure the provision of patient-centered care.
- Remain up-to-date on current trends, practices, and evidence-based guidelines in telemetry nursing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
• Active RN license in Virgina (or compact license)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry experience
• BLS, ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills
