Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and support
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry; respond promptly to any abnormalities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress thoroughly and timely
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
- Respond effectively to emergencies, demonstrating sound clinical judgment
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in PCU/Telemetry
