Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care, coordinates treatment plans, and supports patients and families through assessment, education, and advocacy. The RN works collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, safe, and compassionate care.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to physicians
Perform diagnostic tests and analyze results
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-treatment care
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Provide emotional support to patients and families
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred or required depending on unit)
1–2 years of clinical experience preferred (new graduates may apply depending on facility)
Experience in specialty area (e.g., ICU, ER, Pediatrics) preferred for specialized units
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
Hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, outpatient centers, or home health settings
May require standing for long periods and lifting patients
Flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays
