Travel Nurse RN - Stepdown - $2,100 to $2,300 per week in Kearney, NE

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown Unit
Location: Kearney, NE
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (12 hours, 3 days/week)
Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years
Weekly Pay: $2100 – $2300

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown to join a dedicated healthcare team in Kearney, NE. The RN will care for patients transitioning from ICU who require close monitoring and advanced nursing support in a stepdown/telemetry environment.

• Provide direct patient care to stepdown/telemetry patients with complex medical conditions
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and overall patient status
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Manage cardiac drips, oxygen therapy, and other advanced interventions
• Identify and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility standards

• Active RN License in Nebraska (or compact license if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown/Telemetry experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required
• Strong telemetry interpretation and critical care skills
• Experience with cardiac drips and post-ICU patient care preferred
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays
