Job Title: RNFA Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: RNFA Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10 Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Pending license accepted; must apply for license within 24 hours after offer Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRNFA Must-Have: Previous charge experience required Charting system experience preferred Description: Position/Specialty: RNFA - OR Shift: Days 4x10 (0700-1730) Call requirement: None Weekend requirement: None Floating requirement: Occasional floating to pre/post-op and possibly to another facility for surgical cases on Mondays. Guaranteed hours: 36 First-timers accepted: Yes Locals accepted: No, must live at least 50 miles away from the facility. Scrub color: Provided Daily census: 8 Number of rooms: 2 Important note: Travelers need to understand any conduct issues, including unprofessional behavior or shift call-offs, may result in immediate contract termination. Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals depending on volume/census. Copy of certifications must be obtained prior to start. Charting experience required. Background policy must be noted prior to submission. Return Staff Policy: Must be gone for 3 years before returning as a traveler. Travelers need to complete up to 8 hours of modules within 1 week of signing. Module hours are billable up to 8 hours. Modules are completed pre-start and are self-reported. Due to an increase in professional conduct concerns, all travelers must understand the importance of maintaining professionalism.
