Job Title: Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: - 2 years of Registered Nursing experience - 2 years of Medical/Surgical experience - Telemetry experience required License: - New York Registered Nurse license Certifications: - BLS (American Heart Association) - ACLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: - Good communication skills - Ability to critically think Description: We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department. This role involves working in a multidisciplinary team setting. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients. The role also includes post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care. Experience with gastrointestinal post-procedural care is preferred but not required. We specialize in providing care for patients undergoing various imaging procedures including CT scans, MRIs, nuclear medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds. Candidates should be team-oriented, enthusiastic, flexible, and organized. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. No interventional radiology experience is required for this role.
