Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: Proficient in reading and interpreting telemetry strips Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Stepdown unit. The position involves working 12-hour night shifts starting at 7 PM and ending at 7:30 AM. Weekends may be required as needed. The unit has a total of 34 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 for Stepdown patients. Nurses are required to be proficient in reading telemetry strips. Charge Nurse and Transport RN support is available from 7 AM to 7:30 PM. Respiratory therapy is in-house 24/7, and ventilators are available for stable patients. There are typically 2-5 Certified Assistants on the unit to assist nursing staff. Holiday availability is required, though the frequency will be communicated upon hire. Nurses may be asked to float to other units if necessary. Scrub color is royal blue.
