Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty required License: Compact or State License required at time of submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Experience with trauma surgical patient populations. Familiarity with wound care, fracture care, and post-surgical skills. Telemetry experience and knowledge of drips such as insulin and heparin. Ability to manage BiPAP/CPAP and tracheostomy care. Description: Looking for a registered nurse with experience in trauma surgical patients. Experience should be in a level 1 trauma center or a high-volume facility. Knowledge of patient mobility and traction techniques is essential. Candidates should be skilled in managing cardiac drips without titration. Experience with orthopedic trauma and surgical drains is required. Working with adult patients undergoing solid abdominal organ transplants. Familiarity with wound vacs is preferred. Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias is necessary. Candidates should be comfortable floating within a hospital or to nearby affiliates. Medical and religious exemptions for COVID-19 and flu vaccines are allowed. Must fulfill compliance requirements including EKG onboarding exam and math exam. All candidates should demonstrate proficiency in progressive care competencies and skills.
