Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required Must-Have: Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Description: General Comments: This position requires caring for patients in a progressive care unit. Registered Nurses in this unit wear navy, white, or a combination of the two as their scrub color. Nursing Assistants are required to wear galaxy blue scrubs, while sitters without a CNA certificate wear purple. Respiratory Therapists wear medium gray or pewter scrubs, and LPNs wear sage green. Tobacco use is prohibited in all buildings and properties. Compliance with these policies is mandatory. Candidates should be prepared to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Timekeeping procedures will be communicated upon hiring. Additional information will be provided during onboarding. This role requires flexibility and adaptability to meet patient needs. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families are essential. Must be committed to providing high-quality care and patient safety.
