Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $1,884 per week in Nashville, TN

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; two weekends (four shifts) per four-week schedule; flexible rotation with experienced unit staff

Highlights:

• 20-bed Neuro Medical/Surgical unit with 6:1 patient ratio
• Tech support on day and night shifts; unit secretary coverage 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Meditech documentation system with iMobile communication technology
• Part of a Comprehensive Stroke Center, ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center, and Certified Chest Pain Center
• Diverse patient population requiring prioritization, multitasking, and compassionate bedside care
• Standard equipment including IV pumps, telemetry, SCDs, continuous pulse oximetry, feeding pumps, PCA, EKG machines, and bladder scanners

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Tennessee or compact)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency in IV starts, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize care and multitask in a fast-paced environment
