Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN license Certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, BLS Must-Have: - ICU or Step Down/Progressive Care experience - At least 1 travel assignment Description: We are excited to announce the opening of a new state-of-the-art facility. This facility features a range of services including dedicated endoscopy and radiology spaces. We provide larger, more spacious patient rooms designed for comfort. As a full-service, critical access hospital, we serve our community with various outpatient services. These services include a wound clinic, full laboratory, digital mammography, CT, MRI, and therapy options. We have received recognition for our acute stroke care capabilities. The unit includes 30 beds and a dynamic staff that works collaboratively to deliver high-quality care. Patient ratios are typically 6:1 with occasional opportunities for higher acuity care. The equipment used within the unit includes EMR systems. Candidates should demonstrate outgoing personalities and strong teamwork skills. Typical procedures performed include thoracentesis, ventilator management, arterial lines, and central lines. Weekend work is required, with every other weekend being a minimum expectation. This position is a contractor replacement.
