Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: 2+ years of PACU experience required License: Michigan RN license required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS Must-Have: - 2+ years of PACU experience - Health system-wide profile standards - Completed skills checklist within the past year Description: McLaren Northern has incorporated a strict attendance policy to advocate for their patient population. Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift three times will be terminated effective immediately. Situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed favorably. The surgical services represent a full spectrum of procedures and tests across various specialties. General elective surgeries as well as critical or life-saving procedures are what we excel at. McLaren was the first to provide many surgical techniques and tools and continues to enhance care and outcomes for all surgical patients. Call is required weeknights, from 9:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Weekend call shifts vary and typically average 2-3 weeknight calls and 1-2 weekend calls in a six-week period.
