Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $1,906 per week in Asheville, NC

Schedule: 6-week rotating schedules; 3 call shifts required per 6-week period; flexible scheduling options available

• 40-bed Post Anesthesia Care Unit serving as the region's referral center for Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke care
• 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio ensuring quality patient care and manageable workload
• Robust support staff including Health Unit Coordinators and 4 Patient Care Technicians daily
• Cerner electronic medical record system for streamlined documentation
• Diverse case mix including trauma, pediatric, and stroke patients with advanced peri-anesthesia procedures
• Float opportunities within peri-anesthesia areas including Endoscopy, Pre-Op, and Phase II units

Requirements:

• Current RN license in North Carolina or ability to obtain
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification and experience
• Trauma and pediatric nursing experience strongly preferred
• Ventilator monitoring skills and advanced critical care competencies
• PACU or critical care experience preferred
