Seven Healthcare is excited to offer a rewarding nursing opportunity for a Travel Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Charlotte, North Carolina. This contract includes a competitive weekly blended rate of $3,060, based on three 12-hour day shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
  • Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions including vital signs, neurological status, and respiratory function
  • Administer medications, including life-support drugs, following strict protocols
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other specialists
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation as per facility standards
  • Educate families on patient care, treatment plans, and post-discharge instructions
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient status

Requirements of the Travel Nurse
  • Active North Carolina or Compact RN license
  • Current BLS and PALS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a PICU or similar critical care pediatric setting
