Job Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room/OR

Overview:
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse specializing in surgical disciplines such as Orthopedics, ENT, Plastics, or Robotics. This pivotal role involves delivering high-quality patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the framework of regulatory standards and professional guidelines. As a key member of the interdisciplinary team, you will lead, delegate, and collaborate to ensure optimal patient outcomes, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and professional accountability at every step. Pay Package: $2,424 Weekly
Shift: 6:30am - 5pm

Required Skills:

  • Valid RN license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with expertise in Orthopedics, ENT, Plastics, or Robotics (DaVinci experience required)
  • Proficient in working with confidential information and maintaining HIPAA compliance
  • Experience in a fast-paced clinical setting with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and detailed-oriented skills
  • Effective time management and self-directed work habits
  • Demonstrates good judgment and interpersonal skills
  • Delegation capabilities and leadership ability for team oversight
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with healthcare software systems
  • Ability to assess learning needs and implement appropriate teaching strategies

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Other Requirements:

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory agency requirements
  • Physical ability to perform heavy work, including exerting 25-50 pounds frequently and 50-100 pounds occasionally, with accommodations available if needed
  • Exposure to blood, body fluids, and infectious materials as part of routine duties
  • Ability to work directly with patients and handle specimens containing communicable diseases
  • Willingness to follow all safety protocols and compliance standards, including handling hazardous materials and waste
