Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
- Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgical team to ensure safe patient care before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain sterile field and follow proper infection control protocols
- Document intraoperative care and support post-anesthesia recovery
- Monitor and respond to patient condition changes in the OR
- Maintain accurate records and equipment readiness
Qualifications of the Travel Nurse
- Active RN license in Massachusetts (or compact eligible)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 2+ years of recent OR nursing experience
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
