Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure all surgical equipment is sterilized and available
- Assist surgeons during procedures and maintain a sterile field throughout
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery
- Adhere to strict safety and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesia staff, and recovery teams
- Accurately document procedures and patient care activities
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
- Active Georgia or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years' recent Operating Room experience
