Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,286 per week in Jefferson, NC

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with call rotation every third day and every third weekend. Call hours are 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM on weekdays; weekend call runs Friday 3:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM. 30-minute call-back requirement.

- Work with Stryker orthopedic equipment, Olympus laparoscopic equipment, and Fuji endoscopy systems
- Meditech and Omnicell charting systems; 24-hour orientation provided
- Scrubs provided; no weekend requirement outside of call rotation
- No floating required; set schedule with predictable work-life balance
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of operating room nursing experience
- Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license accepted)
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
- Experience with general OR settings including colonoscopy, EGD, laparoscopic procedures, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, and gynecological surgeries
- Proficiency in orthopedic, ophthalmology, and urology procedures
- Competency in conscious sedation monitoring, cardiac monitoring, infection control, radiation safety, specimen handling, peripheral IV starts, and PACU recovery
- Meditech charting system experience required
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
