Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the acute care operating room setting with competency in general, neuro, ortho, ENT, and GYN. License: SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: Candidates must have a broad scope of specialty competency. Description: We are seeking a qualified Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment. This position involves a 4x10-hour day shift from 7 AM to 5 PM. The nurse will be required to take call every 3rd to 4th weekend. The facility has 12 operating rooms. On-call requirements include 2 star call until 11 PM per week. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the acute care operating room setting. Experience should include a well-rounded skill set in general, neuro, ortho, ENT, and GYN specialties. First-time travelers are accepted if they meet the competency requirements. A valid SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license is required for this position. BLS certification is mandatory. The facility is a designated Level 3 trauma center. A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency. Candidates should be aware that the facility may assign employees and contractors to emergency response teams during hurricane season. All scheduled time off must be communicated during the application process. This position does not allow local travelers within a 60-mile radius. Travelers who have previously worked must be separated from the system for one year before returning.
