Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
- Deliver compassionate care to patients undergoing cancer treatments
- Administer chemotherapy and other oncology-specific therapies safely
- Monitor patients' responses to treatment and manage side effects
- Provide emotional support to patients and families throughout the treatment journey
- Coordinate care with oncologists, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with protocols
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
- Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) or compact state license
- Current BLS certification (ONS certification preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in an oncology setting
