Key Responsibilities - Travel Nurse
- Provide comprehensive care to postpartum mothers and healthy newborns
- Monitor vital signs, manage pain, support breastfeeding, and educate families
- Recognize and respond to potential complications in mother or baby
- Collaborate with OB team, nursery staff, and lactation consultants
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with facility protocols
- Support and educate families on postnatal care and newborn development
Requirements - Travel Nurse
- Active RN license (Texas or Compact State)
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent Mother/Baby or Postpartum experience
- Strong communication, patient education, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced, supportive team environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a travel assignment
