Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in medical surgical License: Active RN license in the state or compact license required Certifications: BLS preferred Must-Have: - Experience in Level I Trauma Center - Experience in a large hospital setting - Travel experience required Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in this specialty. The nurse will work night shifts totaling 48 hours per week. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:7 with support from a team. First-time travelers are not accepted unless they have more than 3 years of recent experience. Weekend shifts may be required as needed. The facility adheres to strict compliance guidelines. RTO must be included at the time of submission; changes will not be honored. Travelers should be willing to work during holidays as needed. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates must have experience in trauma care. Cerner experience is preferred for charting. This role requires floating between like units as needed.
