Key Responsibilities of the Travel MedSurg RN:
- Provide hands-on bedside care to adult patients with diverse medical and postoperative conditions
- Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system
- Prioritize and respond to changing patient needs in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety guidelines, and quality standards
Requirements of the Travel MedSurg RN:
- Active West Virginia RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- BLS and ACLS required.
- Minimum 2 years of recent MedSurg RN experience
- Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills
