Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of inpatient medical-surgical experience License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Recent Epic experience within the last 6 months Ability to work with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specialized in Medical Surgical. Candidates will be responsible for providing nursing care to adult and geriatric patients. The unit has a daily census of approximately 8 patients and consists of 10 beds. The nurse will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Candidates must have experience with peripheral line care and management, as well as non-invasive airway management. Isolation precautions and PPE knowledge are essential for this role. We are looking for individuals who are able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with critical thinking skills. The nurse will be expected to follow a nursing schedule of 1:6 patient ratios during all shifts.
