Job Title: RN - Med Surg Profession: Nursing Specialty: Agency Staff RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License - State upon hire Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Experience with NGTs, drains, chest tubes, wound vacs, blood transfusions, and heparin drips. Excellent communication skills, teamwork, reliability, and completion of standard work. Description: Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably according to professional and legal standards. Demonstrates competency through the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds standards of professional performance including ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, and evidence-based practice. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes in patient care. Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 1, 2024. Required Experience: Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program. Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple interruptions.
