Does the charge nurse take an assignment?\"2 on Day shift charge, will take a patient assignment- At night when 2 scheduled. Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors?: \"Monitor tech is located on level 5, reads and monitors the teles of all patients on a telemetry and calls if there is a problem with the monitor. Nurses not expected to be able to read and interpret tele \"- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?)\"Shifts: RNs 7-7, CNAs 6-6 No self- scheduling or block scheduling.Schedule is made out by the manager who will work with staff around any requested time off (RTO). Travelers are expected to be flexible and help to fill gaps in permanent schedule. If working rotating shifts, schedules will be spread out so that they are not working days/nights in the same week. Usually 2 weeks of days/2 weeks of nights. \"- Weekend RequirementEvery other weekend- Holiday Requirement: \"May be asked to go in the Holiday Rotation.- Holidays go by rotation for RN's.
