Schedule: 36 hours per week, varied shifts including days and nights; flexible availability required for various shift lengths and days
Highlights:
- 13-week travel nursing contract in a 32-bed Transitional Care Unit
- Experience with diverse patient care including wound vacs, chest tubes, tube feeding, trach care, and PICC/PORT management
- Meditech EMR system and Pyxis medication dispensing
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:8 with aide support (1:6 during day shift, 1:8 during night shift)
- May float to Medical-Surgical and Surgical Pediatrics units
- Comprehensive unit-specific orientation program provided
Requirements:
- Active Hawaii RN license required by assignment start date; candidates must apply for licensure upon offer acceptance
- 2–10 years of nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS not required unless mandated by agency
- Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption prior to start date
- Ability to arrive the Thursday before start date for Friday employee health appointment
