Job Title: Clinical Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Acute Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Must have at least 3 years of experience working as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility. License: A valid, current, full and unrestricted Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the United States or a territory of the United States. Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification within six months of hire. NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be completed within six months of hire. Must-Have: Professional knowledge and ability to work independently in completing assignments. Support for individuals of all ages and their families. Description: The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures. These require professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments. Guidelines include physician orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals. Nursing duties include support to individuals and their families.
