Job Description

A Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care, coordinates treatment plans, and collaborates with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. The RN assesses patient health problems, develops and implements nursing care plans, and maintains medical records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, monitor, and record patient symptoms and medical history

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans

  • Perform diagnostic tests and analyze results

  • Operate and monitor medical equipment

  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures

  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-care instructions

  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards

  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide urgent care when required

Required Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

  • Active Registered Nurse license in the applicable state

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required depending on unit)

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient care standards

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience

  • Specialty certification (e.g., critical care, pediatrics, oncology)

  • Experience in hospital or acute care settings
