Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,146 per week in Massena, NY

Start Date: April 20, 2026
Location: Upstate New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM, every other weekend coverage required

Highlights:

• Med-Surg/Telemetry unit with 25 beds and average daily census of 20 patients
• Patient ratios: 1:6 days, 1:7 nights, 1:8 weekends
• Epic charting system experience required
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, and pharmacy
• 12-hour orientation provided upon arrival
• Common diagnoses include COPD, pneumonia, cellulitis, chest pain, and general medical conditions

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license required at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience; previous travel experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications current and in-hand
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• Must reside more than 75 miles from facility location
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Competency in IV therapy, central line care, PICC line management, and blood product administration
• Experience with respiratory support including BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and oxygen administration
• Knowledge of stroke care, seizure management, and substance withdrawal protocols
• Ability to float to other units as needed
