Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 24 months of current experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry in a hospital setting License: Active nursing license in Iowa/compact Multistate Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: 24 months of current Nursing experience Telemetry experience Experience with insulin, Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone drips EPIC charting experience Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical/Telemetry. The position is for a 13-week duration with 3 twelve-hour night shifts weekly. Candidates must have a minimum of 24 months of experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry settings. Experience in telemetry is preferred, as the nurse will be responsible for reading and measuring telemetry strips. Candidates should possess experience in orthopedic and general surgery care. Familiarity with EPIC charting is preferred. Candidates must hold an active Iowa nursing license or a compact Multistate license at the time of application. Certifications in ACLS and BLS are required. This role involves every third weekend and holiday rotation as scheduled.
