ID: 76470165 Shift: 19:00-07:00 Description: : Catholic Medical Center Location: E200 Med Surg Address: 100 McGregor Street Manchester NH Unit Name: E200 Building: Main Hospital, Level E Cost General Information Unit Specifics: Number of Beds : 48 (average census 27) Patient Ratios : 1:5 days; 1:6 nights Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 1 unit secretary 7a-11p; PCT 1:10-15 ratio (matrix calls for 3 working on typical shift), occasional 1:1 coverage with PCT or patient safety tech Type of equipment : Hoyer lift, Automated BP machines, bladder scanner, remote telemetry monitoring, vein finder, Documentation system: Altera/Allscripts Sunrise Scheduling requirements: EOW, 12 hour shifts preferred. Floating policy: Floats to like MST units (D1, F2). Float pool then Travelers generally float first. Patient Experience requirements: Participation in daily MDRs on day shift Mon-Fri @ 1030-11/1115. Work with team for promotion of patient care excellence Hiring profile Must have: Med/Surg skillset- head to toe assessment; orthopedic care knowledge; IV medication administration including management of Lasix drip, heparin drip, IVP metoprolol diltiazem and insulin IV or subQ; wound care including drain management and vacs; NGT/G tube care and parenteral nutrition; central line management- PICC/HD catheter/midlines; foley/nephrostomy/suprapubic catheter care; ostomy care; postoperative patient care.
