Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience; must have at least 1 prior travel assignment License: Must have valid state licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms Must-Have: Telemetry skills; comfort with diverse patient populations; experience in care management; strong critical thinking and communication skills Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in MS/Tele. The nurse will work night shifts from 18:30 to 07:00. The successful candidate will have a strong background in telemetry as the unit has telemetry capability. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates must be comfortable with all patient demographics and must demonstrate skills in telemetry management. Responsibilities include managing a patient ratio of 1:5. Nurses may come into contact with COVID patients. Scrubs are not provided; candidates are expected to wear navy blue scrubs. No on-call requirements are associated with this role. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Candidates will be expected to work 2 out of 3 winter holidays and other future holidays during the contract. Candidates should be prepared to float within units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity. The unit focuses primarily on post-operative care but also manages other medical diagnoses. Interdisciplinary support services are available, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Nurses must fulfill all compliance requirements and complete assigned training modules promptly. References from two supervisors are required. This role emphasizes collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to provide quality patient care.
