Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: EPIC experience required; Telemetry remote monitoring experience required Description: Mandatory questionnaire must be answered before an offer can be made. Candidate must be aware they are being submitted and job description reviewed. Candidate should be flexible with scheduling and aware of the client's policies for attendance. No barriers should prevent the candidate from completing compliance on time. Candidate must be aware of the EKG exam requirement for all RNs. Patient population will primarily be medical-surgical. Staffing will include ratios of 1:5-6. Charge nurse experience is preferred. Must float to various campuses as needed for patient care. Daily patient census is approximately 27. Unit specializes in general surgical patients and includes pre-op and post-op care. Remote telemetry capabilities are available, with medical overflow admissions included. CNA support and unit secretary staff are available. RNs will not exceed a 6 patient load if staffing is inadequate. Compliance requires a complete file by the deadline. Previous charge nurse experience is preferred. Education verification through a third party is mandatory. Open background check cases will not be accepted. Candidates must possess a current nursing license. All candidates are subject to float assignments as needed. All RNs must pass an EKG exam as part of compliance testing. Modules related to orientation may take 2-4 hours and are not billable.
