Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active Nursing License Required Certifications: BLS Required, ACLS Preferred Description: Mandatory questionnaire must be completed prior to submission. Candidate must be made aware of their submission to the position and should review the job description thoroughly. Flexibility with scheduling is required as the client has a strict policy on tardiness and unexcused absences. Candidate should not have any barriers that could prevent timely completion of compliance requirements. Awareness of a pass/fail EKG exam is necessary for all RNs applying for this position. The patient population will primarily consist of medical/surgical patients with remote telemetry capabilities. Required patient ratios are between 1:5 to 1:6. Charge RN experience is preferred. Experience with remote monitoring is required. Candidate must be willing to float to different locations as needed for patient care. The role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients. Inpatient department specializing in preoperative and postoperative care is the focus of this unit. Support staff, including CNAs and unit secretaries, will be available. Staffing will be adjusted to ensure nurses do not exceed six patients under any circumstances. Candidates must be prepared for compliance checks and have necessary educational verifications completed. All candidates will be required to pass an EKG exam with two attempts allowed. Childcare or other caregiving duties should not interfere with compliance and onboarding processes. Documentation of current identification will be needed for address verification. Modules for training may be required and will vary in length. Compliance files must be fully completed by specified deadlines.
