Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a 15-week night shift contract at Genesis Healthcare in Pembroke, NC.
The RN will provide high-quality patient care and ensure patient safety throughout the shift.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs regularly.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Develop and update individualized care plans based on patient needs.
Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members for coordinated care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-care instructions.
Ensure compliance with facility policies and healthcare standards.
