Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Chronic Disease, Hospital, License Management, Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse, Long-Term Care, Patient Care, Registered Nurse (RN)
A Long-Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) provides medical care and emotional support to patients with chronic illnesses, disabilities, or age-related conditions. Unlike the fast-paced, acute nature of a hospital, an LTC RN focuses on managing stable yet complex conditions over an extended period.
The role is unique because you often serve as the "clinical lead" on a unit, supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
