Travel LDRP RN | Williston, ND | Day Shift

We are seeking an experienced LDRP Registered Nurse to join a busy Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum unit in Williston, North Dakota. This role involves providing comprehensive maternal and newborn care while supporting patients throughout the childbirth process.

Position Details
  • Title: LDRP RN – Float

  • Location: Williston, ND 58801

  • Shift:12-Hour Day Shift (0645–1915)

  • Radius Rule:50 miles

  • EMR: Meditech

  • EFM System: TraceView / PIP

Unit Overview
  • Total Beds: 15

    • 7 Labor & Delivery beds

    • 8 Postpartum beds

  • C-Section OR Suites: 1

  • Average Births: ~58 per month

  • Monitoring Equipment: Philips

Nurse-to-Patient Ratios (AWHONN Guidelines):

  • 1:1 for Pitocin, Magnesium, or Insulin drips

  • 1:3 for couplet care

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum nursing care

  • Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and interpret fetal heart rate tracings

  • Administer and titrate medications such as Pitocin, Insulin, and Magnesium

  • Assist with labor management, postpartum care, and newborn stabilization

  • Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support safe maternal and neonatal outcomes

  • Float to Med-Surg or ER units when required

Required Certifications
  • BLS Certification

  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring

Preferred Certifications

  • ACLS

  • NRP

  • STABLE

‍⚕️ Unit Support
  • Charge Nurse present on each shift

  • CNAs available to assist with vitals, patient mobility, and unit support

  • Respiratory therapy equipment available

Scheduling & Requirements
  • Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts (Day/Night options)

  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

  • Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday

  • Call Requirement: May occur depending on staffing

  • Floating: Possible to Med-Surg or ER (permanent staff usually floats first)

  • Scrub Color: Maroon (hospital-provided surgical scrubs)
