Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Center Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Registered Nurse. License: RN license required. Certifications: BLS preferred. Must-Have: Experience in Women's Health, Labor and Delivery, postpartum care, and newborn assessment. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Women’s Health. Candidates will be responsible for caring for all types of women's health patients including labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care. The environment is a Level III Trauma Center with approximately 99 beds. Adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided. Patient ratios will be consistent with a hospital setting. Required skills include performing all LPN/MA tasks, conducting OB welcome visits, non-stress tests, and triaging patients. Support roles may include rooming patients, drawing labs, and performing point-of-care testing. The charting system utilized in this facility is EPIC. Floating to other departments is rarely required, primarily for one-on-one sitter roles. Weekend rotations are scheduled every other weekend. Time off may be approved for up to 7 days. Scrub color is flexible; any color is acceptable.
