Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Iowa RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE Must-Have Skills/Experience: Must have Iowa SING Background Check to clear. All background checks must be fully cleared prior to start. Mandatory reporter certification required for Child and Adult. Drug test must be a 10 panel screening including opiates. Titers must be within the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB). Description: 36 or 48 guaranteed hours available. Will consider 1 year of experience with travel experience. No instant or statewide searches accepted for background checks. Candidates will float within the facility to other units as needed. The unit provides a 1:1 patient ratio for active labor and a 3:1 patient ratio for couplet care. Equipment includes intermediate fetal monitoring and relevant electronic health records. The patient population includes obstetric patients. Teamwork and collaboration are essential for providing individualized care.
