Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years preferred; will consider 1 year with travel experience License: Must have valid state license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, Mandatory reporter certification for Child and Adult Must-Have: Iowa SING background check required Description: 36 or 48 guaranteed hours available. All background checks must be fully cleared prior to start—no instant or statewide searches accepted. Criminal background and child abuse portions required—no exceptions. Drug test must be a 10-panel screening including opiates. Titers must be current within the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB). Flexible start days available on Monday or Tuesday. Patient ratios include active labor at 1:1 and couplet care at 3:1. Intermediate fetal monitoring equipment is used. EHR system in use is Meditech. Must be willing to float to other units as needed. Focus on providing individualized, seamless care to patients and support to families.
