Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in labor and delivery with current fetal heart monitoring. License: Oregon RN license required before starting. Certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP required; EFM and STABLE certifications highly preferred. Must-Have: Experience with OBIX for fetal surveillance and EPIC for EHR is highly preferred. Description: This position involves managing OB triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery care. The role does not include circulating or scrubbing in the OR. The nursing process will be applied to the care of patients as defined by the state's nursing board. Patient education will be provided to patients, their significant others, and support persons. Documentation of patient care in the medical record is required. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team is essential for coordinating overall patient care.
