Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (OB/L&D) – Oklahoma

Start Date: April 13, 2026 (candidates who can begin by February 9, 2026 or February 16, 2026 strongly preferred)

Location: Tahlequah, Oklahoma

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Variable shifts supporting Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, Newborn Nursery, and Couplet Care; approximately 15–17 births per month; facility may cancel one shift every other week

Highlights:

  • Comprehensive OB experience including Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, Newborn Nursery, and Couplet Care
  • Gynecology surgery patients also supported on unit
  • Collaborative RN/LPN team structure with strong house supervisor and transfer coordinator support
  • Low to moderate volume birthing center with creative, resource-rich environment
  • Possibility of floating to Medical/Surgical unit to assist with vital signs and medication administration when census is low
  • Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in Oklahoma or compact state eligibility
  • Current BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and Fetal Heart Monitoring certifications required
  • Experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, and Newborn Nursery preferred
  • Ability to perform all responsibilities within RN scope including triage, initial assessments, and labor support
  • Flexibility to float and assist other units as needed when OB census is low
