Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 18 months permanent Labor and Delivery experience prior to travel. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required. Must-Have: Minimum of 18 months recent Labor and Delivery experience as home unit. Description: Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery specialty. This is a night shift position requiring three 12-hour shifts. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months permanent experience in Labor and Delivery prior to travel. A permanent Ohio license is required at the time of submission. Compact licenses are accepted for any starts from January 1, 2023, and forward. One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying is required. No non-supervisory references will be considered. Certifications must be active with nothing pending. Candidates will undergo an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required, with a maximum of two attempts to pass. Background checks will be reviewed, and no evidence of open cases will be accepted. License issues will not be accepted. All candidates must be nicotine-free, with a negative 10 panel + nicotine drug screen required within 12 months of start. Candidates may extend with the client for a period of 18 months, after which a 6-month break is required. Candidates are required to complete online modules prior to starting the position. Additional time for pre-start modules is non-billable. Annual modules are billable up to four hours for travelers who have been on contract for a continuous year.
