ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Neuro ICU experience preferred Charge experience preferred Description: 1st timers welcome. Position will float between units. Weekends required every other weekend. Expected patient ratios are 1:2 or 1:3. Special requirements include neuro ICU experience preferred. No on-call is required. The facility type is Short Term Acute Care. Total staffed beds are 379. It operates as a Level II Trauma Center. The dress code for licensed nursing personnel is solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not acceptable attire. Unlicensed personnel must wear solid hunter green uniforms or scrub attire. Free parking is available in unrestricted spaces. Submittals must be made within a specified timeframe. Providers must commit to working three of five holidays. Travelers may float between nearby facilities. Providers must submit supervisory references covering the last three years. Communication devices will be provided as needed to perform duties. Providers may be responsible for submitting monthly cell phone bills directly. Modules are to be completed pre-start and annually.
