ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience required License: Valid Compact license must be in hand at submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Neuro ICU experience preferred Description: ICU RN position available for night shifts. First-time travelers are welcome. Position may float between units. Weekends are required, every other weekend. No on-call duty is required. Expected patient ratios are 1:2 or 1:3. Candidates should possess neuro ICU experience if possible. The facility is a short-term acute care hospital and a Level II trauma center. Dress code includes solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire. Additional requirements include standard ICU skills and charting system experience. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Supervisory references covering one year within the last three years are required. Providers will be responsible for their communication devices if not supplied.
