Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide high-quality patient care. This role requires strong critical thinking and the ability to handle complex medical situations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients.
- Monitor and manage chest tubes, wound vacs, and femoral arterial sheaths.
- Administer blood products and manage a variety of drips such as diltiazem, amiodarone, and more.
- Assist with specific patient types including CHF, respiratory distress, and post-cath care.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required.
- Must have completed at least one travel assignment.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Familiarity with EMR: EPIC.
- Preferred experience with Art line, Impella, and/or IABP.
